Welcome to Kurio Studio. We hope you enjoy discovering our collection of meaningful gifts, keepsakes and inspirational products. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Products & Availability
All products displayed on our website are subject to availability. We make every effort to keep stock information up to date; however, on rare occasions an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed.
If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss an alternative product or arrange a refund where applicable.
As many of our products are handmade, locally crafted or produced in small quantities, slight variations in colour, finish, texture, size or placement may occur. These small differences are part of the character of individually crafted products and are not considered defects.
2. Product Images
We make every effort to represent our products accurately through the photographs and descriptions on our website. Colours may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography and the screen or device being used.
3. Prices
All prices displayed on the website are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
Prices may be changed from time to time without prior notice. The price applicable to your purchase will be the price displayed when your order is placed.
Delivery charges are not included in the product price unless specifically stated otherwise.
4. Orders
Once an order has been placed, we will process it subject to product availability and payment confirmation.
Please ensure that your name, telephone number and delivery details are correct when placing your order. Kurio Studio cannot be responsible for delays or additional delivery costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact you using the contact information provided.
5. Payment
Orders must be paid for using one of the payment methods made available through our website.
An order will be processed once the required payment has been successfully completed or confirmed, except where another payment arrangement is specifically offered.
6. Delivery
Once your order is ready, Kurio Studio will contact you to coordinate a convenient delivery time. We will then arrange a PickMe Flash rider to collect and deliver your order.
Delivery charges are based on the delivery location and are payable directly by the customer to the PickMe Flash rider upon delivery. The delivery charge is therefore not included in the amount paid to Kurio Studio for your order.
As PickMe Flash is a third-party delivery service, delivery times and rider availability may vary depending on location, traffic, weather and other circumstances outside Kurio Studio's control.
Please ensure that the delivery address and contact number provided are correct and that someone is available to receive the order at the agreed time.
7. Receiving Your Order
We take care to ensure that products are properly packed before dispatch.
We encourage customers to check their order promptly upon receipt. If an item arrives damaged, defective or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact Kurio Studio as soon as possible and provide photographs of the product and packaging so that we can assist you.
8. Returns & Exchanges
Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges simply because of a change of mind, unless otherwise agreed by Kurio Studio.
If an item is damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied, please contact us promptly after receiving your order. We will review the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, exchange or other suitable resolution.
Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging where reasonably possible.
This policy does not limit any rights available to customers under applicable Sri Lankan consumer protection laws.
9. Customised & Personalised Products
Customised and personalised products are created specifically for the customer and therefore cannot normally be returned, exchanged or refunded once production has commenced, except where the product is defective or we have made an error.
Customers are responsible for checking all names, wording, dates, spelling and other information supplied for personalisation before approving an order.
Once artwork, wording or personalisation has been approved, Kurio Studio cannot be responsible for errors contained in the information approved by the customer.
Colours, positioning and finishes may vary slightly from digital previews due to the nature of printing, materials and handcrafted production.
10. Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will make every effort to accommodate the request if the order has not yet been processed or dispatched. Customised or personalised orders cannot normally be cancelled once production has begun.
11. Gift Items
Where products are purchased as gifts, customers are responsible for providing the correct recipient name, telephone number and delivery information.
12. Promotions & Discounts
Promotional offers, discount codes and special prices may be subject to specific validity periods, product restrictions or other conditions.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined with other offers and cannot be exchanged for cash.
13. Intellectual Property
All original Kurio Studio designs, artwork, photographs, written content, branding and other creative material displayed on this website remain the property of Kurio Studio.
They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without permission.
14. Privacy
Personal information provided when placing an order or contacting us will be used for purposes such as processing orders, arranging delivery, communicating with customers and providing our services.
We will handle customer information with care and in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.
15. Changes to These Terms
Kurio Studio may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on the website at the time an order is placed will apply to that order.
